Coles Birtinya Commercial Floor
We were asked to partner with Progrind, a specialist in delivering larger scale polished concrete jobs for specific retailers. The work was done under the supervision of ADCO construction.
We delivered the job ahead of schedule, without additional costs from variations and we were the only trades contractors on site to deliver their job without a defect. In addition the floor achieved a higher gloss points reading than required by the specification
Coles is one of the leaders in implementing mechanically polished concrete for their green sites. It demonstrates to their customer base that they are interested in “greener” building solutions as no additional floor covering (often imported from overseas) is required, reducing their environmental footprint.
In addition it has been demonstrated that there is a signifiant maintenance cost reduction over a 10 year period comparing vinyl flooring to mechanically polished concrete.
